US woman who was kidnapped over 18 years ago is found. Jaycee Dugard and her daughters of age 11 and 15 were kept in a hidden backyard inside a backyard. Suspected kidnapper Phillip Garrido is the father of two children, she gave birth to the first child when she was 14.
Kidnapper Phillip Garrido 58 and his wife Nancy Garrido 54 are in imprisonment of California. DNA test were done to determine Ms Dugard’s identity, in the meantime she had been reunited with her family. Undersheriff Fred Kollar said mother and her daughters appeared to be in good health but Kollar added up saying Ms Dugard living in a backyard for 18 years does take its toll. Dugard was missing since 1991 at the age 11 evidently two people who bundled her into a car. She had been living with these couple cut off in Antioch near San Francisco, 170 miles away from her home in South Lake Tahoe. Tents and outbuilding in the backyard were located in a planned arrangement to hold back outside viewing and to isolate the victims from outside world. She and her children did spent good amount of their lives there in addition they had never been to school or seen a doctor. Police at the University of California Berkeley campus noticed Mr Garrido along with two young children. Police raised doubts, as he is a registered sex offender and not allowed to be with young children. As per the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, he is guilty verdict for rape and was paroled in 1999. A parole officer called in for questioning along with two children and a young woman named Allissa. Through questioning, he disclosed that Allisa was actually Ms Dugard, were she also inveterate her identity to police. In a telephonic interview from prison, Mr Garrido said the birth of the first child 15years old had changed his life. It’s repulsive of what happened in the past but he tried to change his life totally. Over the recent years, he was very religious and he was planning to set up a church.
Police said that they found a vehicle hidden in the backyard of Antioch that was equivalent to the vehicle portrayed at the time of kidnap, even though a parole officer in the past did visit him but they did not notice anything odd regarding the backyard. Red Corner Notice released by International Police Organization against Lashkar-e-Tayiba founder chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and brain behind the Mumbai terror strike Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. Contentious athlete world champion Caster Semenya has returned home in South Africa. Hundreds turned out to welcome Ms Semenya and fellow medal winners, men’s 800 meters champion Mbulaeni Mulaudzi and long jump silver medallist Khotso Mokoena.
