South Africa Methodists Bishop Paul Verryn has determined to take actions on the accusations Zimbabwean children physically abused within the church boundaries. This church provides shelter to thousands of homeless Zimbabweans.
Bishop of Central Africa professed the accusation will be taken seriously. Bishop and other members are gathering in southeastern province of Kwa- Zulu Nulu to find a solution to this problem. After the report of sexual abuse 20 children has been shifted to different place. One of the main reasons says the security guard of the church is overcrowding. After the South African government closed down the Zimbabwe border post the number of Zimbabweans residing has enlarged. Some are sleeping on the asphalt road outside the church. This is not the first report of sexual abuse suspects were arrested by the police but the case is discharged from the court. For Johannesburg refugee, church is a symbol of hope but now it is in poor shape with peeling wallpaper and leaking sewage pipes.
