Bloodthirsty day of violence against US armed forces kills eight soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Three died on a roadside bombing in northern Iraq, deadliest incident for US military within five month, one soldier killed in Baghdad. Four soldiers died in a complex attack in Kunar province of eastern Afghanistan.

Attacks have increased in Iraq and violence in Afghanistan is at extreme record. Exact location of attacks in Iraq is not been advised to kith and kin, but all four soldiers died in roadside buildings.
